Dropship Automation Software Managing Direct-to-Consumer Orders

For EDI and eCommerce transactions.

Direct-to-consumer challenges are unique. Here are some examples of our custom solutions.

ezcom connects to Macys and UPS

Company A was shipping direct-to-consumer using EDI with Macy’s, logging into UPS and creating shipping labels one at a time.  They were also creating invoices and manually copying and pasting information. Processing every single direct-to-consumer order this way was far too time-consuming.

Solution: With our Lingo dropship automation software, they can integrate with UPS easily to automate and  streamline the process. EDI information, shipping labels, packing slip, invoices—all of it is now powered by our platform and processed the same way. Instead of spending hours processing a single direct-to-consumer order, they are moving thousands of them at once without any copying and pasting.

Company B was processing direct-to-consumer orders from Macy’s through EDI, while also using WooCommerce to sell on their own online store. They relied on QuickBooks and WMS for inventory management. The process involved multiple manual steps, including the creation of spreadsheets and the need to upload data to QuickBooks and their warehouse.

Solution: We integrated Lingo with QuickBooks and connected to the WMS used by the 3PL, so data now moves automatically and seamlessly. Order information is merged into QuickBooks and invoices are automatically generated. Tracking information is transferred from orders without the issues that copy-and-paste actions create.

Company C had all kinds of orders from different channels—EDI transactions with retailers, purchases from online marketplaces, and sales on their own eCommerce store. They also used a retailer-required inventory network platform (Dsco) and had a 3PL. They were forced to log into multiple systems to process information and spent hours sending data to NetSuite, the ERP they relied on.

Solution: The company now works in its ERP with Lingo fully integrated, driving the flow of order information into the ERP and back out again.  The company can process orders in batches, instead of being forced to manage them one at a time. With direct-to-consumer orders, dropship automation adds efficiency and saves hours of time every week.
